The RNC attacked President Joe Biden on Friday for correctly noting that his signature is longer than former President Barrack Obama’s, only to be informed that Biden signs his full name, which is Joseph R. Biden Jr.
As Biden signed an executive order designed to foster competition in our economy, he joked that his signature is longer than Obama’s, whom he served under as vice president from 2009 to 2017. Republicans at the RNC immediately decided to “fact-check” Biden, presumably in a desperate ploy to portray Biden as mentally unfit to be in the White House.

Unfortunately, the tweet backfired by revealing that Republicans don’t understand how math works and don’t know how to perform proper research. Because Joe Biden does not sign his name as “Joe Biden” but rather as his full name Joseph R. Biden Jr., which means his signature is three letters longer than Obama’s, not the other way around.
It’s an embarrassing error that earned a deserved round of mockery on Twitter.
The length of signatures often have nothing to do with the amount of letters within them. Ya’ll know that, though.

This is going to go down as the stupidest manufactured scandal by the GOP since they threw a fit about Obama wearing a tan suit. Besides, at least Biden’s signature is legible and, most importantly, is not Donald Trump’s.
