In yet another unforced error, President Donald Trump insulted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), also known as AOC, by questioning her intelligence during a Fox News rant.

During the interview, Trump had already attacked and demeaned Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) before turning his attention to Ocasio-Cortez.

“AOC was a poor student,” Trump said. “This is not even a smart person, other than she’s got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps.”

Here’s the video via Twitter:

Ocasio-Cortez attended Boston University and graduated cum laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both international relations and economics. And she did not need her daddy to buy her way into the prestigious school.

In response to Trump’s lazy attack, Ocasio-Cortez challenged him to release his college transcript to see who did better in school. The loser, AOC said, would have to fund the Postal Service.

Trump has repeatedly refused to release his grades, even going so far as to threaten a lawsuit against any institution he attended should they ever release them.

It’s also been recently reported that Trump paid someone to take his SAT exams for him so he could get into Wharton and his former instructors consider him one of the dumbest students they’ve ever had in their classrooms.

AOC is considered one of the brightest members of Congress who does her homework on the issues. Trump, meanwhile, doesn’t even know how the government works and often bullsh*ts his way through questions.

AOC has proven herself to be more than just a “yapper.” She is the youngest person ever elected to Congress. She has become a motivator and a leader for millions of young people, primarily. She has kept the issues that matter to her in the spotlight — Issues like Medicare For All, The Green New Deal, and humane treatment of immigrants.

Of course, all those things, Trump is dead set against.

In her duties in Congress that involve sitting on committees, she has done damage to Trump as well. In 2019 she grilled ethics experts about campaign finance and how easy it was for wealthy corporations to buy off politicians. The video of that “lightning round” exchange became the most-watched political video on Twitter — Trump probably doesn’t like that — both for the substance of the video and just the fact that she holds that record, and he doesn’t.

Then when questioning Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, and “fixer” she unearthed potential fraud committed by Trump concerning his finances. She even got him to “name names.” Of course, Trump hates that bright light being shown on his finances. There are still investigations looking into them in New York.

If nothing else, she can always get under a billionaire’s skin when she wants to.

It’s doubtful Trump will take up her challenge. For one thing, she’s already shown how smart she can be. Not to mention, Trump probably doesn’t have enough in the bank to cover funding the Post Office, if the revelations that she brought out of Michael Cohen are even close to being accurate.
