Outgoing President Donald Trump’s scheme to overturn the election results is so hopeless that even Kellyanne Conway is now acknowledging that he lost and that President-Elect Joe Biden will take office in January.

Conway served as one of Trump’s closest advisors for nearly his full term until earlier this year when she decided to step down because her support of Trump was tearing her family apart.

She’s been relatively quiet ever since, but did support Trump’s campaign. But now that the election results have been certified by every state and Trump has lost nearly every single lawsuit he has brought alleging widespread voter fraud, even she is apparently tired of pretending that Trump can still somehow win.

During an interview, Conway stated that while Trump has the right to exhaust his legal options, Biden is the winner and it’s time to move forward.

“The president wants to exhaust all of his legal avenues, as he has made clear many times. His team is doing that, and that is his right,” Conway said. “If you look at the vote totals in the Electoral College tally, it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail. I assume the electors will certify that and it will be official. We, as a nation, will move forward, because we always do.”

Conway also called for a peaceful transfer of power, which Trump has indicated that he will refuse to do.

“You always need a peaceful transfer of democracy, no matter whose administration goes into whose administration,” she said.

In addition, she offered her services to the next administration even though her sycophancy for Trump should make her unemployable.

With 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232, Biden has most definitely won the election. The Electoral College will certify his victory later this month. But Trump will likely try every dirty trick in the book in his desperation to stay in power. As a counselor to Trump, Kellyanne Conway should do some counseling and tell Trump to concede and move on.
