Plaintiffs in a case against President Donald Trump and his family are about to get a look at unaired footage of “The Apprentice” that could reveal things Trump doesn’t want the American people to see.

A group of entrepreneurs banded together to sue Trump and his kids in 2018 alleging that they scammed them into investing in a product that became quickly outdated.

According to Bloomberg:

Trump and his three oldest children were sued in 2018 for their roles in promoting ACN from 2005 to 2015 with Trump suggesting people could invest in the company’s desktop video phone with little or no risk. The service was quickly eclipsed with the advent of smartphones and the plaintiffs claim they lost hundreds of thousands of dollars by putting their faith in the Trumps.

On Thursday, the federal judge presiding over the lawsuit instructed MGM to give the plaintiffs access to unaired footage of “The Apprentice” that may hold the key to proving their case in court.

U.S. District Judge Lorna Schofield in Manhattan on Thursday advised Hollywood studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to find a way for the plaintiffs to see hundreds of hours of recordings from two episodes in which the principals of the marketing company, ACN Opportunity LLC, were on-set guests.

“It seems appropriate the tapes be made available,” Schofield said at the end of a hearing conducted over the phone. The judge asked the plaintiffs and MGM to negotiate a way to make it happen.

Trump could lose hundreds of thousands of dollars if the footage proves that he sold the plaintiffs a bill of goods similar to the way he sold a fake education for profit to Trump University students.

The lawyer for the plaintiffs is certainly happy about the ruling.

“We look forward to continuing to gather the evidence to deliver justice for our brave clients, and thousands of others like them who were defrauded by the Trumps,” Roberta Kaplan, said in a statement.

Who knows, maybe they will find other damning stuff in this footage beyond a scam. Like Trump using the N-word.
