Former President Donald Trump launched a disgusting attack on American Jews, suggesting that they don’t love Israel enough and control the media.

Speaking with Israeli reporter Barak Ravid at Mar-a-Lago, Trump suggested that some American Jews aren’t actually Jewish at all:

“There’s people in this country that are Jewish, no longer love Israel. I’ll tell you, the evangelical Christians love Israel more than the Jews in this country. It used to be that Israel had absolute power over Congress. And today I think it’s the exact opposite, and I think Obama and Biden did that. And yet in the election, they still get a lot of votes from Jewish people, which tells you that the Jewish people, and I’ve said this for a long time — the Jewish people in the United States, either don’t like Israel or don’t care about Israel.”

And then there was the suggestion that media in the U.S. is controlled by Jews:

“I mean you look at The New York Times, The New York Times hates Israel, hates them, and they’re Jewish people that run The New York Times, I mean the Sulzberger family.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Trump has made blatantly anti-Semitic remarks. Here are a few other instances of his anti-Jewish bias:

  • In November, Trump said: “The biggest change I’ve seen in Congress is Israel literally owned Congress — you understand that — 10 years ago, 15 years ago. And it was so powerful. It was so powerful. And today it’s almost the opposite.”
  • 2019: “A lot of you are in the real estate business, because I know you very well. You’re brutal killers, not nice people at all.”
  • “After phone calls with Jewish lawmakers, Trump has muttered that Jews ‘are only in it for themselves’ and ‘stick together’ in an ethnic allegiance that exceeds other loyalties, officials said.”
