Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) threw a temper tantrum on Twitter immediately after the press reported that President Joe Biden will nominate Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the next Supreme Court Justice.

If confirmed, Jackson would replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer and would be the first Black woman on the high court. Of course, Republicans have already been complaining about it and it didn’t take long for Graham to throw a tantrum either just because Biden didn’t choose his personal suggestion of a district judge in South Carolina.

Graham claimed that the nomination of Jackson is a “radical left” victory even though he didn’t exactly explain how she is radical left. He then threw a tantrum over Supreme Court nominees having been educated at Harvard or Yale.

The problem is that Graham himself voted to place Jackson on the DC Appellate Court less than a year ago. He apparently had no problem with her at that time. Furthermore, his complaint about the Ivy League schools to the Supreme Court pipeline was not brought up when he joined Senate Republicans to confirm Neil Gorsuch, who went to Harvard, and Brett Kavanaugh, who went to Yale. While it’s a complete mystery how either of them managed to graduate from those institutions, there’s really no mystery as to why Graham is complaining about Biden’s choice of Jackson.

After all, he criticized Trump not too long ago, and now he’s engaging in his favorite activity of bootlicking to get back in Trump’s circle.
