Fox News propagandist Tucker Carlson demanded that President Joe Biden release Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT scores and suggested she isn’t smart enough to be on the high court, only for Twitter users to school him hard.
Conservatives have been attacking Brown Jackson since Biden nominated her to replace the retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, with Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and other Republicans making fools of themselves in the process.
Not wanting to be left out, Carlson made a fool of himself on Wednesday night by demanding Brown Jackson’s LSAT scores because he doesn’t think she is intelligent enough to be a Supreme Court Justice.
“So is Ketanji Brown Jackson one of the top legal minds in the entire country?” Carlson said. “We certainly hope so. Biden is right, appointing her is one of his gravest constitutional duties. So, it might be time for Joe Biden to let us know what Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT score was. Well, how did she do in the LSAT? Why wouldn’t you tell us that? That would settle the question conclusively as to whether she is a once in a generation legal talent, the next Learned Hand? It would seem like Americans in a democracy have a right to know that and much more before giving her a lifetime appointment, but we didn’t hear that.”
Carlson never demanded to see LSAT scores from Neil Gorsuch, Brett “I like beer” Kavanaugh, or Amy Coney Barrett when Donald Trump nominated them to the court. Can you guess the reason why? Could it be because Brown Jackson is a black woman while the three conservative judges are white?
Twitter users certainly think so, which is why they nailed Carlson for being a racist and reminded him that Brown Jackson graduated from Harvard with high honors and has 25 years of experience in law and on the bench, making her more than qualified to be on the Supreme Court.
