A little more than a week ago, during a speech he gave in Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump made a fool of himself by bragging that portions of  his “beautiful” border wall was being built in Colorado, even though the state isn’t on the U.S.-Mexico border.

And now Trump has been embarrassed yet again with news that smugglers are easily sawing through sections of the border wall with something as simple as a reciprocating saw, which can be bought at any hardware store for less than a hundred bucks..

The Washington Post reports:

“Smuggling gangs in Mexico have repeatedly sawed through new sections of President Trump’s border wall in recent months by using commercially available power tools, opening gaps large enough for people and drug loads to pass through, according to U.S. agents and officials with knowledge of the damage.

“The breaches have been made using a popular cordless household tool known as a reciprocating saw that retails at hardware stores for as little as $100. When fitted with specialized blades, the saws can slice through one of the barrier’s steel-and-concrete bollards in a matter of minutes, according to the agents, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the barrier-defeating techniques.”

The Post notes that smugglers merely have to cut through the base of a bollard, push the steel out of the way, and voila! A space is created which an adult can easily slide through.

Crews of smugglers have also devised other means for defeating Trump’s wall, including “building makeshift ladders to scale and overtop the barriers, especially in the popular smuggling areas in and around San Diego.”

Here’s a diagram from the Post showing exactly how smugglers are able to easily get over or under the wall:

Keep in mind that Trump’s beautiful wall has a price tag of at least $10 billion, and yet it has already proven to be utterly useless to anyone with an electric saw or ladder. Kinda makes you wonder how anyone could be dumb enough to think something as primitive as a wall was a match for human ingenuity.

Once again, Donald Trump has proven that while he may claim to be a “stable genius,” he’s nothing more than a bumbling fool with a massive ego.
