Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is known as one of the most blatantly racist members of Congress, and he’s just proved yet again why he remains a giant canker sore on the House of Representatives with remarks he made to Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris on Twitter.
Specifically, King asked Harris if she was “descended from slaves or slave owners?”
It didn’t take long before King was hit by a massive dose of internet karma:
Thankfully, this racist monster will no longer be a Congressman in just 42 days. pic.twitter.com/kXr7379crS

You do realize that because we have come so far (and slave owners raped slaves), that both could be true.
In fact, if you go far enough back, I’m pretty sure the answer can be both for many people.
Why is this so hard for you to understand? pic.twitter.com/Onpv9dnh59

Hmm..lol. I’m a descendant of slaves AND slave owners. Wanna know how?? My 3rd great grandfather raped the house slaves he owned. Not an uncommon history if you’re African American.
Nice try though.

Steve. You’re in the twilight of life. It’s the 4th quarter with 2 min left, for you bro.
Some would be trying to right their wrongs before judgement day.
You, on the other hand, are adding to the list. 😂
What you think is inconsequential.

The good news is that Steve King’s days in the House are numbered. He lost his bid for reelection to State Senator Randy Feenstra.
Bye-bye, Steve. We’re done with you.
