Outgoing President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, otherwise known as nepotism Barbie, sought to elevate her own power on Thursday by daring to equate herself to three former presidents who have volunteered to take the coronavirus vaccine to demonstrate that is safe for Americans.
The coronavirus pandemic has swept the nation because Trump allowed it to spiral out of control in the first place with an incompetent and reckless response that included calling the virus a “hoax” and then attacking science.
A vaccine, which Trump absurdly wants to be named after him, is now being readied for distribution, but millions of Americans don’t trust it because Trump is untrustworthy and has spent his entire presidency taking shortcuts, especially if those shortcuts could benefit him financially or politically.
In this case, it really could be both, but Trump repeatedly claimed that a vaccine would be developed before Election Day and failed to deliver. Out of desperation, Trump ignored guidelines designed to make vaccine development a safer process in order to rush a vaccine out to the public. Frankly, it would appear that the vaccine developed by Pfizer is the best choice for Americans since it was developed without government funding and the often accompanying political strings attached.
But Americans are still understandably skeptical. And that’s why former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton have all volunteered to be vaccinated on camera to show Americans that the vaccine is safe.
“People like Anthony Fauci, who I know, and I’ve worked with, I trust completely,” Obama said in a statement according to CNN. “So, if Anthony Fauci tells me this vaccine is safe, and can vaccinate, you know, immunize you from getting COVID, absolutely, I’m going to take it. I promise you that when it’s been made for people who are less at risk, I will be taking it. I may end up taking it on TV or having it filmed, just so that people know that I trust this science, and what I don’t trust is getting COVID.”
“President Clinton will definitely take a vaccine as soon as available to him, based on the priorities determined by public health officials,” Clinton’s spokesperson similarly announced. “And he will do it in a public setting if it will help urge all Americans to do the same.”
“A few weeks ago President Bush asked me to let Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx know that, when the time is right, he wants to do what he can to help encourage his fellow citizens to get vaccinated,” Bush’s spokesperson told CNN. “First, the vaccines need to be deemed safe and administered to the priority populations. Then, President Bush will get in line for his, and will gladly do so on camera.”
This is the kind of display of leadership that has been sorely lacking over the last four years with Trump in the White House. Predictably, Trump himself has not made the same commitment to take the vaccine.
His daughter Ivanka, on the other hand, allegedly has and she blew her own horn about it while pretending that she’s on the same level as the former presidents.
I applaud these pronouncements to help assure the public that the vaccine is safe and effective.
My offer holds to do the same. https://t.co/CXswL8eaWg

Let’s be clear here, Ivanka is NOT even close to having the status of a former president. She got her advisor position in the White House via nepotism, not merit. And she was not elected either. She has been complicit with her dad’s scheme to undermine democracy and the rule of law and is currently under investigation for multiple crimes along with her daddy.
Sure, she supposedly wants to be the first female president, but that does not give her a status equivalent to former presidents. She has tried to hobnob with foreign heads of state in an effort to be considered relevant, only to be ignored for the fraud she is. No real leader takes her seriously. That’s indicative of being weak, not powerful, or influential.
Americans were not amused by Ivanka’s attempt to leech off the stature and influence of our former presidents.
Don’t compare yourself to these men whom people trust. If you take the vaccine, millions won’t.

Right, because you’re as influential as the three former presidents. pic.twitter.com/6aYw9xVmZS

Wait. What? You actually put yourself in the category of three former presidents and actually think you would have as much impact as they would? What planet do you live on!?!

I’m sure the three former Presidents are really interested in getting the applause from Nepotism Barbie.

Ivanka Trump has no right to compare herself to former presidents. And it’s probably safe to say more Americans want her in jail instead of in the White House. She can’t be trusted. She has proven that over and over again. Most people won’t even remember her name in years to come.
