Americans are mocking disgraced former President Donald Trump for laughably calling for a boycott of Coca-Cola even though he’s addicted to Diet Coke.

Indeed, Trump dubiously installed a button on the Oval Office desk to summon it during his time in the White House and reportedly sucks down a dozen cans of the soda every day. Yet he called on his supporters to boycott Coca-Cola and other companies on Friday for voicing opposition to the Jim Crow voter suppression law passed by Georgia Republicans.

“Boycott baseball and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!” Trump said in a statement.

Of course, while Trump expects everyone else to boycott Coca-Cola products, don’t expect him to practice what he’s preaching. After all, Trump secretly took the coronavirus vaccine without telling his anti-vaxxer supporters back in January. Therefore, it’s doubtful he will stop drinking his favorite beverage, assuming he even knows it is a Coca-Cola product.

Regardless, Twitter users mocked him.

It should also be pointed out that the PGA has also voiced opposition to Georgia’s racist voter suppression law in a statement.

The PGA Tour fully supports efforts to protect the right of all Americans to vote and to eliminate any barriers that may prevent citizens’ voices from being heard and counted. It is the foundation of our great country and a critical national priority to listen to the concerns about voter suppression – especially from communities of color that have been marginalized in the past – and work together to make voting easier for all citizens.

Is Trump going to stop playing golf in protest? We all know the answer to that question.
