In what appears to be an effort to pander to evangelicals, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) took to Twitter to ask everyone what their favorite Bible verses are, only to get humiliated because she’s a hypocrite.
Boebert still has not been charged for live-tweeting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) location as the insurrection at the Capitol unfolded on January 6th, and she has managed to vote against just about every piece of legislation introduced to help the American people, including bills that would benefit pregnant women in the workplace and a bill to renew the National Marrow Donor Program.
Nothing Boebert has done since taking office in January is Christian-like. Yet she tried to jump on the evangelical gravy train on Sunday by asking people to post their favorite Bible verses.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?

And that was all Twitter users needed to get off to the races as they responded with real verses that Boebert has ignored or clearly has never read along with some creative ones that demonstrate her hypocrisy, especially when it comes to her support of disgraced former White House occupant Donald Trump.
Exodus 20:3, you know the one about false idols?

“Thou shalt have no other gods before Me” is one of the Ten Commandments found in the Hebrew Bible at Exodus 20:2 and Deuteronomy 5:6. It is the central tenet of the Abrahamic religions and prohibits the religion’s followers from worshipping gods other than the Lord.

She needs you to tell her cuz she hasn’t read it. It wasn’t on the GED study guide so why waste the time reading it.

“I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”
Matthew 25: 31-40
This is the most citied Bible verse for welcoming foreigners.
The @GOPChairwoman @GOP @RepBoebert should revisit their Christian values.

If Boebert were a real Christian, she would definitely not be a Trump Republican.
